I generally do my calculations in EUR so I can relate to that problem 😇.
This point is a bit more nuanced actually because the Trinity Study is based on investments in US stocks and bonds. In most countries you can access those investments but not all (e.g. Iran).
Some people prefer to invest in their own home country market (e.g. emerging markets) but the study doesn't cover that as most markets are riskier than the US one.
A safer approach to this is to invest in total world stock market (which includes also the US market), it may return a little bit less but overall will work for most people!
